Dr. Rajendra Prasad (3 December 1884 – 28 February 1963) was the youngest son of Mahadev Sahay from the village Ziradei, then the Saran district of Bihar. Dr. Prasad is considered to be one of the architects of the Indian Republic, having drafted its first constitution and serving as the first president of free India.


Amitabh Bachchan , born Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan on 11 October 1942), is an Indian film actor and producer. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the "angry young man" of Bollywood cinema, and has since become one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema.
Bhagwati Charan Verma मा) (August 30, 1903 -October 5, 1981), was one of the leading writers in Hindi. He wrote many novels, but his magnum opus was 'Chitralekha' (चित्रलेखा), which was made into two successful Hindi films, 1941 and 1964.
He was awarded the 1961 Sahitya Akademi Award in Hindi, for his epic five-part novel, Bhoole Bisre Chitra ; and in 1971 the Padma Bhushan, one of India's civil honours and nominated to Rajya Sabha in 1978.
Harivansh Rai "Bachchan" Shrivastav (November 27, 1907– January 18, 2003) was a distinguished Hindi poet of Chhayavaad literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. He was also a famous poet of Hindi Kavi Sammelan. He is best known for his early work Madhushala. He is also the father of Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.
Jayaprakash Narayan (October 11, 1902 - October 8, 1979), widely known as JP or loknayak (leader of the masses), was an Indian independence activist and political leader, remembered especially for leading the opposition to Indira Gandhi in the 1970s and for giving a call for peaceful Total Revolution. His biography, Jayaprakash, was written by his nationalist friend and an eminent writer of Hindi literature, Ramavriksha Benipuri. In 1998, he was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in recognition of his social work. Other awards include the Magsaysay award for Public Service in 1965. The airport of Patna is also named after him.
Acharya Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, CSI, CIE, FRS (30 November 1858 – 23 November 1937) was an Bengali polymath: a physicist, biologist, botanist, archaeologist, as well as an early writer of science fiction. He pioneered the investigation of radio and microwave optics, made very significant contributions to plant science, and laid the foundations of experimental science in the Indian subcontinent. IEEE named him one of the fathers of radio science.[6] He is also considered the father of Bengali science fiction. He was the first person from the Indian subcontinent to receive a US patent, in 1904
Lal Bahadur Srivastava Shastri (2 October 1904 - 11 January 1966) was the second Prime Minister of the Republic of India and a significant figure in the Indian independence movement.
Mahadevi Varma (26 March 1907– September 11, 1987) best known as outstanding Hindi poet, was also a freedom fighter, woman's activist and educationist. She was also a famous poet of Hindi Kavi Sammelan. She is widely regarded as the "modern Meera"[citation needed]. She was a major poet of the Chhayavaad generation, a period of romanticism in Modern Hindi poetry ranging from 1914-1938. With passage of time, her limited but outstanding prose has also being recognised as unique in Hindi Literature.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi , born Mahesh Prasad Varma (January 12, 1914 - February 5, 2008), developed the Transcendental Meditation technique, and was the leader or "guru" of the TM movement, which has been defined as a new religious movement. Varma's given name was Mahesh, while Maharishi and yogi are honorifics. Varma began to be known as "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi" around the year 1960. His devotees referred to him as "His Holiness", and he became known as the "giggling guru"
Munshi Premchand , (July 31, 1880– October 8, 1936) was a famous writer of modern Hindi-Urdu literature. He is generally recognized in India as the foremost Hindi-Urdu writer of the early twentieth century.
Subhas Chandra Bose was born 23 January 1897, and is presumed to have died 18 August 1945 (although this is disputed). He was an Indian revolutionary who led an Indian national political and military force against Britain and the Western powers during World War II. Popularly known as Netaji (literally "Respected Leader"), Bose was one of the most prominent leaders in the Indian independence movement and is a legendary figure in India today.
Sir Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar, OBE, FRS (February 21, 1894 – January 1, 1955) was a well-known Indian scientist.

Shatrughan Sinha (born 9 December 1945[1] Patna, Bihar) is an Indian film actor and politician.

Sonu Nigam born 30 July 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana, India) is an Indian playback singer whose songs have been featured in numerous Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil and Kannada movies. He has also released numerous Indi-pop albums and acted in a few Hindi feature films. He has changed the spelling of his last name from 'Nigam' to 'Niigaam' in accordance with numerology, but not getting desired results, he returned to the old spelling 'Nigam'.
Swami Vivekananda (January 12, 1863–July 4, 1902), born Narendranath Dutta was the chief disciple of the 19th century mystic Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and the founder of Ramakrishna Mission.He is considered a key figure in the introduction of Hindu philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga in Europe and America and is also credited with raising interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a world religion during the end of the 19th century.Vivekananda is considered to be a major force in the revival of Hinduism in modern India.
