Welcome to the website of Chhetriya Kayastha Samaj
Chhetriya Kayastha Samaj, has the priviledge of being one of the most premier Kayastha Organisations in Mumbai. It was formed in 1976 by a handful of people from the suburbs of Mumbai. The vision of the Samaj that time was to bring together people of the samaj and to create self awareness which could help people in many ways like finding suitable matches inside the Kayastha Samaj. This was achieved through the various functions and events the Samaj held every here, the Samaj has been working from funds raised from charity since its initial days. Patrons have always come forward for the cause. Now as we have become a strong organisation with a large member base our focus has broadened, we are working for social causes alongwith the interacation programmes. We have an Education Fund and Mediacal Fund for the needy, the Samaj plans to start an "Ambulance Service" by the end of 2007, with many other plans in pipeline. We expect Kayasthas throughout the globe to help us for the causes, so that we can make worth for our entire Kayastha Biradari. |
